Hi! I’m Michelle and this is my story! I fell in love with traveling and travel photography when I was a kid. In my 20's I started solo backpacking. Later, I was trapped by corporate America and lost track of my passions. Now, in my 40's I've left the corporate life and have rekindled my adventurous spirit. I will journey east from Colorado in search of a new place to settle for awhile. The Carolinas have been calling, but we’ll see where the universe guides me!
This time I will take you to visit the amazing forest giants as well as other art and nature in the amazing Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. Later, we will visit Cumberland Falls, the Niagara Falls of the South.
In this post you will see the Kentucky Stonehenge as well as three different caves/caverns I visited.
I only spent a few days in Tennessee, visiting Memphis and Nashville. I found a couple little gems along the way, and also learned I love nature more than cities!! Come on in to see what I found.
After leaving Kansas, I blazed through Kansas City and didn't stop until St. Louis. I really enjoyed the people and seeing a few of the sights before continuing on towards TN.
I'm finally taking some time to explore things in my own backyard...the U.S. I'm now on a road trip in search of a new place to settle for awhile...please come along and enjoy the ride!
