Hi! I’m Michelle and this is my story! I fell in love with traveling and travel photography when I was a kid. In my 20's I started solo backpacking. Later, I was trapped by corporate America and lost track of my passions. Now, in my 40's I've left the corporate life and have rekindled my adventurous spirit. This time I will take you to visit the amazing forest giants as well as other art and nature in the amazing Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest. Later, we will visit Cumberland Falls, the Niagara Falls of the South.
I wanted to share a bit about about the actual city of Cluj-Napoca apart from all of the amazing nearby treasures. Inside are a few of my favorite buildings and a peek at the unique botanic gardens. Enjoy!
I visited some really spectacular sites around Cluj-Napoca and enjoyed learning about the history while making new friends. If you are a Dracula fan, you will enjoy seeing some of the inspiration in these amazing castles and villages!
My final few busy days in Porto included trips to Aviero, the Douro Valley, and Arouca Geopark. I tasted many great wines and saw some beautiful sights and scenery. Come on in and check it out! Cheers!
An amazing last few days in Japan with a brief glimpse of crazy Tokyo and sights of beautiful Mt. Fuji. I couldn't have asked for any better weather and everything just fell into place as it was meant to be. Enjoy!
