Later, I was trapped by corporate America and lost track of my passions. Now, in my 40's I've left the corporate life and have rekindled my adventurous spirit. Latvia had been on my bucket list for awhile, so I saved a few days before wrapping up my Europe adventure (for now!), and flew to Riga. From interesting culture and fun people to amazing architecture and quiet beaches and bogs, I enjoyed the few days to their fullest. Come on in and see what I found!

This 3-Day trip to Tusheti, tackling one of the world's most dangerous roads, was the reason I extended my trip in Georgia and the best decision I made in the past 8 months of travel! Come on in to see lots of pictures and learn about the adventure!
I had another amazing day in Georgia with visits to the town of Borjomi, famous for it's healing mineral water, and the amazing cave monastery of Vardzia. Come on in and check it out. Also, stay tuned for the upcoming posts as my favorite adventure is yet to come!!! Gosh, Georgia was a good idea! 🙂
I took a day trip from Tbilisi, Georgia to Armenia to visit some of the oldest monasteries and an interesting old Soviet cable car site. We were lucky to avoid the rain for most of the day and have a bit cooler weather with the clouds!
After Romania, I gave up on my Eurail pass and flew to Georgia! This turned out to be the best decision! Here is my first adventure to the Rainbow Mountains and a couple of interesting monasteries where I also met a new friend! Come on in to start the Georgia journey with me!

An amazing last few days in Japan with a brief glimpse of crazy Tokyo and sights of beautiful Mt. Fuji. I couldn't have asked for any better weather and everything just fell into place as it was meant to be. Enjoy!
I spent a week exploring Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai. I had fun on my scooter, found some beautiful beaches, and discovered the amazing crab sand art! Come along and relax in the sun.
I spent 10 days doing in a volunteer position in exchange for room/board at Bananas Bungalows at Thalane Bay in Khao Thong, Thailand. I had such a great time hanging out with the guests, island hopping, kayaking, practicing yoga, and most of all being entertained by the monkeys. I hope you have fun with this one too!
