Later, I was trapped by corporate America and lost track of my passions. Now, in my 40's I've left the corporate life and have rekindled my adventurous spirit. My final chapter for SE Asia for now :-). I relaxed, exercised, saw friends, and took in the city in a new way. There we so many unexpected surprises and so many happy moments in this crazy city I've grown to love.
Wow, how time flies. I can't believe I was in Phuket for a whole month. I saw many things from beaches to markets in the Old Town, finally attended the yoga retreat I've been looking forward to for months, and had my first visitors form the US!! Read more to see the pics and learn more! Cheers!
Back in Kuala Lumpur, I attended the amazing, intense Hindu Festival, Thaipusum, at the Batu Caves. I included many photos as well as a few videos to give you an idea what it was all about. So glad I did it!!!
I had a fun few days exploring George Town, hiking on the hill and loving the wildlife. This city on Penang Island has a lot to offer in arts and culture. I hope you have fun with the pics, as I had a blast finding them!
Well, I have to apologize, I had a bit of a bad attitude while I was in Melaka, but I turned it around the best I could and saw some cool stuff. I will let the pictures tell more words than me and I hope you enjoy! Cheers!
I spent 10 days doing in a volunteer position in exchange for room/board at Bananas Bungalows at Thalane Bay in Khao Thong, Thailand. I had such a great time hanging out with the guests, island hopping, kayaking, practicing yoga, and most of all being entertained by the monkeys. I hope you have fun with this one too!
Just a few days to regroup in Krabi before moving on to Khoa Sok National Park for some hiking and lake adventures. I loved this cute little town and enjoyed the downtime after the islands!

I took a mini vacation to Battambang, the City of the Lost Stick, about 50 miles NE of Siem Reap. Maybe you can find the magical stick? I didn't, but I found many other fun things....come see!
